​Troubadour Hostel is Chicago's premiere artist hostel with boutique amenities -- offering affordable accommodations to visiting artists (both individuals and companies), while also open to backpackers, students and other budget travelers. 

We also serve as a hub for local artists in Chicago by offering use of our Synergy Space, resources and connections with other locals and visiting artists. 

Guests at the Troubadour will have the opportunity to apply for an Artist in Residence stay, wherein they will receive discounted rates for teaching a class or workshop in the Synergy Space. 

Local and visiting artists will have the opportunity to display their work at Troubadour Hostel.

​Troubadour Hostel seeks to provide a home away from home for the global artistic community by fostering creativity, promoting collaboration and advocating a free-thinking space.

​We facilitate a safe space for creative minds to converge, building lasting connections by fusing cultures and artistic disciplines. 

We strive to be a cultural keystone for our home community by listening to the needs of the neighborhood, the youth and local artists. 

​Synergy
​Space

​The Synergy Space is a multi-purpose space serving as the connecting vessel between the Troubadour guests and it's home community members (neighborhood residents, local Chicago artists and beyond). The Synergy Space will be used for classes, workshops, rehearsal, gallery and event space. Guests at Troubadour Hostel will have the opportunity to sign up for time slots to rehearse/work in part of the space. Local area artists and companies may rent the space for rehearsals, events and gallery space. Classes and workshops (both artistic and life skills) will be available to guests and residents, encouraging our guests to interact with their home base community while in Chicago and get these folks talking.
